Darren G. Schutz, CPA

Darren has enjoyed working in public accounting more than 25 years for individuals, small businesses, and various size corporations providing accounting, tax, and consulting services.

He is a CPA licensed in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Darren also works with service providers, repair and installation service companies, manufacturing companies, and many other types of companies.

He has many years of experience working with and developing complex financial statements for mixed mode manufacturers using various ERP systems software, QuickBooks, and other software applications.

Darren enjoys advanced cost accounting and inventory controls processes. Manufacturing and technology companies are an irresistible draw considering Darren’s electro-mechanical technology and information systems background.

Member of Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants. Also, a member of Minnesota Association of Public Accountants.

Past licensed Real Estate Agent of several years (now inactive). Enjoys providing service for real estate companies and homeowner associations.

He is a current member of Hudson Daybreak Rotary.

Darren has served as a past treasurer for the local Kiwanis Club, Boy Scout Troop, and Cub Scout Pack.

Darren earned his accounting degree from Minnesota State University Mankato. He attended MNSU on a multi-year full tuition paid scholarship he competed for and was awarded.

He meets with clients at both office locations.

Jennifer A. Schutz, CPA

Jennifer has over 25 years of accounting experience.

She works with nonprofit organizations, small businesses, accounting firms and individuals.

She performs Audits, Reviews, Compilations, Agreed-Upon-Procedures, Tax Preparation and both system and engagement peer reviews.

Jennifer is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The AICPA Government Audit Quality Center, The AICPA Non-Profit Center, Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accounts, and Minnesota Association of Public Accountants.

For the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants she is currently serving on the Peer Review Executive Committee as the Past Chair and in the past has been the Chair, Vice Chair, Review Acceptance Body Captain. She also involved with the Accounting and Auditing Continuing Professional Education Advisory Group and Small Firm Round Table. In the past she has served on the General Business Advisory Group, School District Review Task Force and the MN Charitable Gambling Conference Task Force.

Jennifer is currently serving on the Minnesota Association of Public Accountants Board of Directors as the Past President and is also the Bylaws Committee Chair, and the Co-Chair of the Peer Review Committee. She also writes articles for the newsletter the MAPAN. In the past she was the President, Vice President, Volunteer Coordinator, Board of Directors Secretary and Region III Director and served on the membership committee.

As a member of Rotary she has enjoyed the roles of Youth Services Director and Vocational Services Director and is the Grant Management Chair and serves on the Finance Committee.

Jennifer has also been a member of many other local nonprofit Board of Directors and finance committees.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, projects around the house, and reading.
